Activities & New Layout for the Lead Page

We’re pleased to announce a new feature - Activities. We’ve also moved thing around in the lead page for a clearer layout.

Previously todos, contacts, notes, files and information were accessible from a single page. However, a long list of todos would mean a lot of scrolling to get to the part where notes started. The new UI organizes each of these into a separate page, accessible from the menu on the left.

You’ll also notice a new item in the menu, namely activities. This allows you to see at a glance all the recent activity related to the lead.

Notifications

We’re pleased to announce the release of a new feature - Notifications. There is now a counter to the left of your user name on the menu bar in ClinchPad. It shows the number of unread notifications and clicking on the counter opens up the list of notifications, where you can read and dismiss the notifications.

These notifications are also sent you the e-mail address.

You can follow a lead by clicking the ‘follow’ option on the top of a lead page.

By default, you will get notifications for all the leads assigned to you. You can change this by clicking on your name in the top right corner and clicking on Settings and then clicking on Notifications. There are three notification settings

  • Follow Everything - Get notifications whenever any activity takes place.
  • Follow My Lead - Get notifications for only leads that are assigned to you. (Default option)
  • Follow Nothing - Don’t get any notifications.

Regardless of which setting you have, you will always get notifications for leads you have followed.

My Todo List & Default Todo Items

We’re pleased to announce the release of two new features - My Todo List and Default Todo Items.

My Todo List

You’ll see a new menu item on the top bar called ‘My Todo List’. You’ll see a list of todo items from leads attached to you which haven’t been marked as done yet.

This list is chronologically ordered so you can open it up everyday and see what you need to do for the day.

Default Todo Items

If you click on the settings icon, you’ll see a new option ‘Set Default Todos’. This allows you to set todo items that are automatically created whenever a lead is moved into the stage.
